MOOSLETTER 3

Top albums recorded at the Cowshed:

John Etheridge featuring Liane Carroll - famous guitarist and multi award winning singer reveal their soul in 12 brilliant songs available from Dekkor in September.

Bluesmix - "Biding My Time" very tasty sounding blues band becomes BBC West Midlands Album of the Week. Produced by Joe Leach it has gained a raft of great reviews from blues and instrumental magazines, as well as securing mainstream distribution through Proper Records and topping the Play.com blues chart in the process.

Julie Mckee - quick witted femina explains in her debut album "What a Woman Shouldn’t Do". Due for release 2nd July it features Mark Fletcher, Simon Little, Nigel Price, Rob Gentry, Steve Ruby and was also produced by Joe Leach.

Lucky Victims - The hugely talented duo Nick of Time and Kitty La Roar bring a dash of classic 70's extravagance to the shed with an album of hugely entertaining piano and synth based originals featuring drummer Simon Lea and bassist Sam Burgess.

Synchroniser

It’s more flexible and easier than ever to blend the compression and warmth of 24-track tape with the features and convenience of the Apple Mac! Joe has installed a "Zeta 3" synchroniser which opens the worlds of analog and digital to two-way communication. Mix and match pure analog sources recorded on tape with overdubs and fixes performed digitally. The studio has never sounded better!

Website

The Cowshed's 8th birthday present - a funky new website - is being shaped in Oxford-based Wes West's cyberlaboratory "WeSaySo". Anticipated for our anniversary on the 4th July, the elegant, fun and functional design should make your clicking a fresh new experience.
